Check! (This and the rest). Sorry for the unresearched reply. :|
Good to see what developed thereafter.

Guys,

This is indeed a bit of an enigma.
It is painted in the colours worn by the EU-93A (BAe125-800) before they became IU-93A with new colours.
And the preserved on is an old one for sure. So either civil or VU-93 in very fake colours.

Three XU/VU-93 were outside at Recife for some years.
But those were auctioned off for scrap on 23jun09 (2120 and 2126) and 24aug11 (s/n unknown).

There are too many for which I do not have a final fate to hazard a guess, but I will ask some locals :-)

Here some new ifo I received ...

Hello Carl,

I asked some friends if they had information about this plane in Recife.
Nobody knows much about him, but what I gather is the following:
The plane was bought by a civilian in PAMA-RF (Parque de Material Aeronáutico do Recife) after the withdrawn from FAB.
The serial number in the tail are unreal. That plane is painted as a EU-93 (HS-125) from GEIV, but that squadron flew with FAB-2119 and FAB-2121.
The paint scheme are unreal also. The HS-125 never flew with that scheme, used only after the introduction of the Hawker 800 in GEIV, the replacer of that plane.
He turned on a plane without historical interest.

Rgds from Brazil.
