Real Thaw 2011

Covilhã Airfield [ 40°15'56.18"N 7°28'52.92"W] - will be the base of a Esquadra 552 / Alouette III detachment participating in the exercice.

There will be several air and ground activities going on during the exercice in all the Serra da Estrela region, including operations at the Seia Airfield, in Pinhanços [ 40°27'11.17"N 7°41'20.78"W ].

There will be a spottersday at BA5 during the exercise, with limited access. Not much more information is known at the moment.
