Amsterdam visit

Post by lambo1784 »

Coming to the Airport Wednesday, what size lens will give good results off the viewing deck.Have a 18-300,is it worth bringing my 100-400 for the extra reach?
Can you get shots of the biz or are they too far away?

They (bizzers) are too far away from the viewing deck, you could take the bus to "Bussluis" though which is near there. 18-300 is more useful I think, because there will be a lot of heat haze.
Mvg,

I wouldn't advise to. But if you have time, it's possible.

What view of cargo do you get from the viewing deck?
Have seen a few photos on line presume taken from the deck only a little distant.

Hardly. Only the the left side of the platform on the other side of the runway. You can read some, for pictures you probably have a lot of stuff in between. Pictures may also be taken from inside the terminal (airside).
