Any new info regarding the show? Mig-29 seems to be cancelled.
Looks like the slowest show ever...

This is from the FaceBook page of Phalsbourg Airshow;
Phalsbourg Airshow This is what we were explaining but in french, the landing distance AVAILABLE is too much short as regard to the MIG-29's weight. Therefore, they couldn't come to our airshow unfortunately!
I would say, just send over some Hind,s !!

Just returned from a very, very slow airshow.
Caracal and Alpha Jet were cancelled. Weather was nice
while the civil aircraft flew, heavy rain during the military part...

But we had some nice food and very good chats! ;)

Some stuff from the cell phone:

Straight from my notebook (This is NOT a complete report because I didn't note W&R, civil and those aircraft of which I knew they weren't new for me...):

Static:
SA342M: 3868/GAO, 4179/GCJ, 4220/GEO
EC665: 2013/BHC
AS532UL: 2316/CGO
AS555UN: 5529/AYF
SA330B: 1107/DAL, 1213/DDF, 1411/DDU
PC6B: 890/MCD
TBM700: 136/ABR
TB30: 90/0, 101/1, 102/2, 141/4

Mass formation: (only read codes; serials from SMS)
SA330B: 1136/DCM, 1156/DAQ, 1171/DCU, 1172/DCV, 1182/DCY, 1447/DDW
SA341F: 1508/GQW
SA342M: 3548/GAE, 3852/GNE, 4026/GBA, 4210/GEF, 4228/GEW

Flying: (only read code; serial from SMS)
EC665: 2021/BHN

Other side of runway: (only read codes; serials from SMS)
SA330B: 1036/DAC, 1510/DBJ
SA342M: 3512/GAC, 4060/GNQ, 4095/GBL, 4140/GBU, 4177/GKB, 4181/GCL, 4218/GEM, 4224/GES
Furthermore we read an SA342M with code G.E Later that day we compared serials with another spotter and he had read an SA342M with code GNR. So it is possible we made a mistake with G.E and overlooked GNR. Can someone help us with this one?

Hangars near parking, right side:
Hangar "EHM3B":
SA330B: ..../...

Hangars near parking, left side:
Hangar "F":
SA330B: ..../..E
Hangar "G":
SA330B: ..../D..
Any help on these Puma's would be highly appreciated!

I think your G.E would be the GAE or GNE as you already mentioned in your log of the mass formation.
We've spoken to two spotters that have seen a planboard with serials and codes in one of the static hangars. The information on the board was very detailed with serials, codes and which were the backup ones. We copied their list and all serials of your list are the same from the planboard.
I'm still figuring out a couple of things such as the GNR. If I'm correct, there were 15 Gazelles on the otherside.

Regarding the Pumas in the hangars:
SA.330B (1232)/DBA,(1277)/DBE 1RHC
The SA.330B in the other hangar had no markings whatsover. Even pictures taken by another spotters revealed nothing on the a/c.

Jeroen

Jeroen, thanks for the Puma's!

We also saw 15 Gazelles on the otherside. On MSF a "GNR or GNB" is mentioned, so that is probably the missing one...

The missing one should be GNQ. This one was flying with the flypast (on Saturday).
The GJB I can confirm.
Good job Eric and thanks for sharing.
