REQ: Yeovilton Air Day 2009

Hi,

In hangar 5 were 8 Sea King’s. One was readable, a HAR.3 the ’I’ (from the back left side) In the middle were two Sea King’s clearly visible a yellow HAR.3 and a green HC.4. Anyone for the serials of these two?

From the official checklist I can give you all 8:

ZA298/Y Sea King HC.4+
ZE428/H Sea King HC.4+
ZE369/S Sea King HAR.3
XZ598 Sea King HAR.3
ZD476/WZ Sea King HC.4
ZD477/E Sea King HC.4
XZ593/I Sea King HAR.3
ZD480/J Sea King HC.4

Don't know which you are meaning exactly, but maybe it helps.

I do have the list myself.

Point is that only (well I saw only) 3 Sea King's were clearly visible.
A 4th one (HC.4) was partly visible, when at the back of the hangar, at the left at the front of the hangar. And with back of the hangar I mean at the side were you saw the helicopters from the back.
