Does someone has get a reply?

I did the Airpower two times. This is the first time that they have a spotter package. For the previous editions the only two possibilities were the press account or the VIPs one (very expensive, over 500 Euro, if my memory is not wrong).

The advantage of the spotter package (it was done in 2005 for the first time) is access to the hill on the west end of the runway. That makes you look down on the runway. It's a great place to shoot.
Otherwise, the crowdline is good in itself as well.
Like you, I didn't yet get a reply yet. We'll see, other Airpowers were great venues.

..it looks like in the Spotter Package page they changed the method.. isn't it?
They say first to pay first to be accredited, but previously they told about they were contacting you... :?:

Has anyone received a reply from Airpower after using either version of the Spotters Package form?

The reply I got from Air Power's organising committee promised an email in which the payment method would be explained. Obviously, this is/was not on their website recently.
In a message dated 17 February, I was informed:

Hello Mr. Rolink,

you will be informed about the payment in the next two weeks.

Best regards

AIRPOWER SPOTTER TEAM

Hope this helps.

Hans.

Hi Hans,

Thanks for that, I applied last Sunday but have had no reply or contact yet. I the wording of the new form indicated you will get an instant reply, I might re-apply using the new form just in case...

I have applied early, did get no message back - then send an e-mail asking whether I should re-apply since they had new version of the page at that time with the photo upload requirement and also asked about the payment - the reply was to send the photo through e-mail and "You can pay now" - which is what I did...

I know at least about one person which already paid and did receive a confirmation of the payment, also seems that if you use german version of the page you will get the immediate response after registering.

Calm down, I am a local and ALSO did not receive my package yet, nor did I get a confirmation link. I suggest you pay in advance, and resend the form with your pic in it. ;)

My way of thinking exactly, Anton.
In fact, I just re-registered and emailed the organisation what I did.

Cheers,
Hans.

I am perfectly calm if your response was to my post - and as I wrote - I already paid having received e-mail from organizers that I can pay now. I'd rather pay now than learn later that I am 501st ;-)

I did send an email because, i did fill in the form and pay my money but didn't got an answer (or a spotterspack)......the send me an email in german.
aufgrund großen Nachfrage und der zu überprüfenden Daten, bitten wir sie sich noch etwas zu gedulden, wir werden uns mit der Bestätigung so bald als möglich melden
They are very busy at this moment, they have to check all the information and they will send the confirmation as soon as possible

I sent an email to the Spotters email address enquiring about my application. I got a reply within a few hours confirming my application and was told to pay the money using the details on the website.

I paid the money today but my bank said that the transfer would take about 3 working days meaning that the payment would not get there until next Monday.

I therefore sent another email to the spotters email address explaining this situation and the reply (within a few minutes) was "when payment is received the accreditations are guaranteed"

Hope this helps someone.

Regards,

Frank.
