Theme of RIAT

How applicable..... blue skies will return.... especially after this year´s disaster!!! Hope and pray that indeed blue skies will return!!!!

Maybe they should change the theme into "Clear Skies".

When I read clear skies I think of this year, a sky with no aircraft in sight.

I would call the theme: Fairford: busiest skylane of aircraft.. But that's a bit offtopic.

Looking forward to RIAT 2009, might go with HAT, but also might arrange my own transportation?

Tigers at RIAT, Tigers at Sanicole, I think next year will be a fine year for Tiger lovers.

As far as I can see, it's still held at Fairford, since they did talk about moving RIAT for a short while.

That's right, as stated in the first post in this topic.

As said in the aftermath of the cancellation at their own website, moving would only be an option if the chances of a return of a cancellation at Fairford would increase dramaticcally, and an other location would not have these problems.

I think this is going to be a very special RIAT. might the american starfighter demo,rome russian stuff etc. I'll be there!

What do you mean by this...??

If I am correct there are no expectations or confirmations yet regarding anything coming to the RIAT. The american starfighter demo and the russian stuff are just on a WISHlist on the UKAR site. ......has nothing to do with the organisation or invited airplanes.

Or did i miss something?? :-)

But.......I must admit.....a russian SU- 24 in nice british sunny weather....zucht!!

Well, since they completely changed their website a few years ago, they don't update it quite often, once every three weeks the last years...
