It looks as if support for the Koreans is enroute over France in the shape of C-130s ARGO104 & ARGO105.

That may be so, but please don't underestimate what it means for the crews who win these trophies.
Let's take the Hungarian Gripen for example. Most of his displays will be local, where he is the undoubted star of the show. At RIAT, he is competing with pretty much every other solo display in Europe. To be judged as the best is a really big thing for these crews...
