I have another question on an occurrence dating back to the nineties of the twentieth...
Somewhere in the nineties during the Farnborough airshow, a Jaguar car raced a Jaguar jet. On acceleration, the car jumped ahead, but when the afterburners kicked in, the jet leaped across the car and won the race.
Does anyone remember in what year this was done, and possibly what the serial of the jet was? (... We can't be bothered with the license plate of the car
