Code ended with 'C'
Given the fact that the letters of the code are nowadays fixed exclusively to an aircraft and can't be changed over anymore (they are part of the military registration, so F-***C), it is safe to say that this makes the full code (which was indeed previously reported as such) 4-IC / F-**IC. Thanks for clearing that one up!

This would be new information?
'7-IP' stored here has previously been quoted as 'A127'.

Codes can be double offcourse but since A125 crashed it will most likely be the A127.

Nice to see that these Jaguars are still surviving after so many years.
Can you please give approximate co-ordinates for their location?

Did anyone check the T-33 which was preserved along the main base road. It is marked as "16524/338-H", but this is a fake ID.
The real ID is still not known. I didn't know that, so didn't check the airframe.

Best regards Rob

PS. Thanks on the updates on the sqn mks.

We had a look for any ID but couldn't find anything - The real "16524" is with CANOPEE at Chateaudun, which wears the fake serial "18658". Although I have a note that says the "real" 18658 was written off many years ago, is it possible that a tail-swap occurred at some point?

Case: T-33, 338-H

If the code on the aircraft is correct, it can only be 338-HE, because in the scramble database there is no other entry for 338-H?.
This a/c was written off in Nov 1980 (Location unknown), but written off does not necessarily mean destroyed. So it could be well that one,
even with another tail, as supposed before.

Tommy,

I think the reference to "338-H" is misleading - Whilst that was what was written on the aircraft last weekend, that doesn't mean it's a legitimate code, in the same way that "real" and "fake" serials get plastered on aircraft. "338-HE" that you refer to was 35060, which WAS written off in 1980, then noted dumped at Toul in 1983, and then (most importantly!) reported as scrapped after that!

I'm 99% sure the airframe at St. Dizier is NOT 35060! (But would like to see proof either way!)

Andy,
In July 2016, we noted 2 or 3 from those stored at 48.633998° 4.918710°.

Looking at the pictures I took.... the tail section is a different color of bare metal. So a tail-swap is certainly one of the options.

MIRAGE 3R (33-AI/nose only) FAF

Mirage 3R nose "33-AI" was 327
Mirage F.1C nose "33-LD" was 79 (not 240)
Mirage F.1C nose "33-BC" was 240
Allouette 2 cab was 2126

(Credit to Phil Adkin for most of these!)

Jaguar A A122/7-HA was noted at the Western end of the airfield as we drove out after the show, although we didn't note the specific location unfortunately.

Stuart,
Wasn't A122 at the eastern end of the field? From the static ramp it could be seen past the CN235 and Cougar.
