Probably a long shot but i'll give it a try:

On saturday the 18th there was some traffic in and outbound Brize Norton, all visible from Fairford. Does somebody know the serials of the following aircraft?

at 10:45 an A330 departed Brize
at 11:43 an A330 flew over to Brize
at 13:48 an C-17 (or A400?) was inbound Brize
at 15:05 a C-17 was inbound Brize
at +/- 16:15 a C-130 was inbound Brize
at 18:20 an A330 departed Brize

Thanks for your help!

Anyone with some info which Typhoon was between the Breitling DC-3 and the Hawk T.2 opposite the OFMC Spitfire and the AW helicopter? (the bit of concrete you were normally not allowed to enter unless you had some extra VIP or something pass.) I have seen all the Typhoons that were mentioned at the checklist for static at other positions. (Anyway, I think this year's checklist was the poorest I've seen since I started buying them)

It was a plastic mockup in bogus 2Sqn colours (no serial, no screws, no rivets..). On saturday morning you could walk all the way to the AW by the way. Does anyone know what serial was beneath the white tape with the CSX-registration?

Thank you, You could walk it this year during all three showdays (maybe with the exception when they needed to move the Spitfire for the BoB segment), I was more trying to describe where it was with the normally not allowed phrase, thinking about the situation in previous years.

Hi Oscar M

Check the website below which provides the movements into/out of Brize, you should be able to tie up your sightings.

Which registrations did the RAF and ItAF have with the special Tornado tail? The one next to the German, 45+71.

Thanks for the link and the serials.

I still have a few unknowns:

- Polish CASA behind CC-3 at the Flightline (On Sunday)
- Spitfire at Breitling tent, G-ASJV?
- Lastly, this Spitfire: http://www.rtm-extra.nl/DSC_0512.JPG

Didn't read it myself (only saw a bit from the country's insignia from as close by as we were allowed) but going by the checklist it must have been 017 as the other one that was at Fairford was in the red part of the static.

Abu Verrekieker al Purmerend, according to the checklist this should have been ZA675/AE from 27 (R) Squadron.
