Aviodrome fly in 16,17 aug 2014

Set for 16th-17th of August. Theme is (air)transport, allthough also roadtrucks are expected to be in place.

Participation of 334 Squadron should be confirmed with one aircraft of yet not announced type as part of the squadron's 70th anniversary.

334 Sqn participating? Most likely candidate seems to be one of the two stored Fokker 50's at LEY.. I don't suppose anyone seriously believes a KDC-10 will fly-in (wouldn't mind, though :roll: ) and for the rest they may or may not still hang on to their Gulfstream by then...

That is why I typed should. According to Aviodrome it is confirmed.

My initial thought was also Fokker 50, but we could be surprised by a Coastguard Do 228, which also seem to be 334 according to RIAT...

Indeed... you might well be right there. Perhaps they can do all three on the static AND a KDC10 flyby?!

As expected KLu participation of the fly in will consist of one of the Fokker 50s stored at EHLE. For the rest expect the Catalina, Reliant, P-51, Tiger Moth, Piper Cubs etc.
