This will be till the beginning of September, but probably even till the end of October.

Looks like it will remain B777 till the end of the summerseason after wich the B777 will switch to UA 946/947 again and the B767 will go to UA 909/909

Earlier this month, the French regional airline Airlinair halted 2x daily Mon-Fri service on the route Le Havre-Amsterdam-Le Havre operated by Chalair.

Is it correct that Air Nostrum will stop with their CRJ-services to SPL from tomorrow the 29th of May?

According my info: last flight the 30th of may. So yes, last flight the 29th.

Hiya,

Have just been told that due to hight fuel price, Polar / Atlas with stop operating their -200 series (into AMS) and China AIlrines will seize the cargo flights into AMS within a few days...

JAKARTA - De internationale luchtvaartorganisatie IATA heeft Garuda Indonesia opgenomen in het IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) register. Volgens IATA voldoet Garuda hiermee aan de ruim negenhonderd internationaal erkende IOSA-eisen op het gebied van luchtvaartveiligheid. De Indonesische luchtvaartmaatschappij hoopt nu dat de Europese Commissie de deur naar Europa weer open zet. Garuda staat op de Europese ‘zwarte lijst’ met vliegmaatschappijen die niet in Europa welkom zijn.

Bij een IOSA-onderzoek worden honderden eisen op het gebied van vliegoperatie, vluchtvoorbereiding, grondafhandeling, bagagevervoer, cabineoperatie en onderhoud nagelopen. Inmiddels heeft de IATA aan 202 luchtvaartmaatschappijen een IOSA-erkenning verstrekt.

De Europese Commissie weert sinds 2007 alle maatschappijen uit Indonesië, na een reeks luchtvaartongelukken in het land, waaronder een crash van een Garuda-toestel. Garuda heeft sinds die tijd hard gewerkt aan een beter imago en begon een grootscheepse reorganisatie van de vloot. Zo plaatste het bedrijf een omvangrijke order voor nieuwe Boeing 737-800’s en 777-300ER’s.Met de ‘Triple 7’ wil Garuda Indonesia op korte termijn de lijndienst naar Amsterdam hervatten. Garuda is ook een klant van de nieuwe Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Met wat voor termijn moeten we rekening houden??

De levering van de eerste 777 voor Garuda is gepland in juni 2010, nog twee jaartjes wachten dus..

LY stopt met zijn vrachtvluchten op AMS na 50+ jaar vanaf october. Als je nog foto's van die prachtige classics wil, moet je snel zijn!
