Weet niet of het al ergens vermeld staat, maar hoorde nog wat losse flodders:

* Aer Lingus gaat van de winter uitbreiden met extra vluchten naar Cork en Dublin. Er wordt gekeken naar een 3e route, of Shannon of Belfast.

* TAP Portugal wil met een dagelijkse 5de vlucht naar Amsterdam komen.

* door een Sales Agent is het verzoek ingediend om 2 vluchten per week van Air Mauritius door te trekken van London Heathrow naar Amsterdam.

* Sky Europe gaat dagelijks op Praag vlilegen en Wenen gaat twee keer per dag worden.

En Schiphol staat op de 'shortlist' voor American Airlines. Madrid en Barcelona zijn andere kandidaten, maar salesrep voor Benelux heeft een bezoek gebracht aan SPL.

Aer Lingus - Winter 2007/2008:

EI will introduce a 6th frequency on DUB-AMS-DUB on selected days only:

- EI 612 dep: 12:25 DUB arr: 15:05 AMS A320 Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun
- EI 613 dep: 15:45 AMS arr: 16:20 DUB A320 Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun

EI will also increase the frequency on ORK-AMS-ORK to 2x daily with 3 new evening flights on Tue, Thu, Sat:

- EI 844 dep: 17:00 ORK arr: 19:50 AMS A320 Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun
- EI 846 dep: 18:00 ORK arr: 20:50 AMS A320 Tue, Thu, Sat = NEW

- EI 845 dep: 20:45 AMS arr: 21:25 ORK A320 Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun
- EI 847 dep: 21:45 AMS arr: 22:25 ORK A320 tue, Thu, Sat = NEW

Delta Airlines will replace its B767-300 with B767-400 on their Atlanta-flights, starting in September.

Delta will probably double up their JFK-flight. Delta will follow Northwest & Continental's example by sending their 757's over the Atlantic. So we'll maybe see these 757's at Amsterdam on the double JFK service.

According to Vueling.com as of december 1st they will also operate a daily SVQ-AMS.

- Iberia (IB 8464) Operated by Air Nostrum

- Continental will continue to operate the second daily B767-200 IAH-AMS-IAH service 4x weekly throughout the winter.

- CO 058 dep: 15:30 IAH arr: 08:00 AMS 767-200
- CO 059 dep: 09:30 AMS arr: 13:35 IAH 767-200

Czech Airlines will continue to operata its new late evening flight PRG-AMS-PRG:

- OK 624 PRG dep: 18:50 arr: 20:20 AMS 737-500 Mon, Thu, Fri, Sun
- OK 625 AMS dep: 21.05 arr: 22.30 PRG 737-500 Mon, Thu, Fri, Sun

Finnair will operate its 3rd daily flight with night-stop in AMS:

- AY 847 HEL dep. 20.10 arr. 21.40 AMS EMB initially only on Thu, Fri
- AY 848AMS dep. 07.30 arr. 10.55 HEL EMB

In Winter 2007 VLM Airlines will raise the frequency of AMS-LCY-AMS on work days from 13x daily to 15x daily. KLM will operate the route 8x daily for a total of 23x daily Fokker 50 flights AMS-LCY-AMS on weekdays.

Following several years as an off-line station Muscat in Oman is to recieve two new services from Amsterdam starting November 2007.

Martinair will operate non-stop to Muscat as an intermediate stop to Sri-Lanka and Phuket, while KLM will re-introduce regular scheduled services via Kuwait;
