C-37A 01-0029 from 6 AMW was still present around 17.30h CET.

Just to complement my knowledge, how do you know its unit?
The callsign SPAR is just a regular callsigns for these airplanes, right?

6AMW is right MacDill i believe he was in Rotterdam not to long ago and saw the pilots.

Spar is a callsign for vip's or persons with a certain rank. (dont know the exact rank)

I can even be more specific, the squadron is 310th AS.

Just type the serial 01-0029, or the wing, or the squadron, or it's homebase, type etc. etc.

Don't know if I'm mixing things up right now, but if I remember well... then C-37's (the white once's from 310th AS at MacDill) are used by special agents to rapidly evacuate prominent and high-ranking people from the US Government during threaths and other crisis situations.

Volgens de site van Praag vertrekt op de 24e deze E4. Weet niet of het degene is die naar schiphol komt.

Explanation for its unit as above.

6th AMW is based at Mc Dill AFB. You'll find the headquarters of the US Central Command there, that's why they have these jets there.

The SPAR callsign used to be mostly used by the VIP aircraft at Ramstein.

It is actually an acronym/abbreviation for SPecial Airlift Requirement.

The aiircraft of the 89th AW (Andrews) normally use SAM which stands for Special Airlift Mission.

Now and again you'll hear the callsign PAT, used by a C-20 of the US Army (OSACOM unit). This stands for Priority Air Transport.
