Scramble 343 will be out in a couple of days

Post by jurgen »

Another month, another Scramble.
Although it was completely out of our hands we would like to apologize for the late delivery of Scramble in the UK. Due to last months strike the Royal Mail had a large backlog and started to clear the big pile of overdue mail. The new mail was thrown on another pile and your Scramble was in there. Hopefully things have returned to normal.
If you want to stay informed about such matters we advise you to subscribe to the Yahoo Scramble info Group. Go to http://www.scramble.nl/mag.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and send us your e-mail address (Below the 'Be informed'-box). You will receive no spam, only a mail or two a month with information that matters.

Al sections are present and accounted for, that is why there are not so many articles, but the 160 pages are filled with lots of information.

In this month's edition we have special features about:

-EUROPEAN MUSTANGS.
Last month we covered the 'Gathering of the Mustangs' in the United States. But luckily there are several of these great looking aircraft based in Europe. Kees van de Velden made a list, tell a bit about their history and attached some unique pictures.

-INDEPENDENCE PARADE - MEXICO STYLE.
The start of the Mexican War on 16 September 1810 is remembered every year with a large military parade. In this edition just under a hundred aircraft took part. So this looks like a great holiday location for 2008.

-MOSCOW ZHUKOVSKY.
The largest airshow in Russia is covered by our editorial team. All the numbers and some stunning pictures of powerful Russian aircraft.

Do not forget to download the Military Updates at
http://www.scramble.nl/members/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Thirty-one pages with info on fifty-one countries.

-Updates on the world's aircraft fleets, civil and military;
-Aircraft mishaps in Dustpan and Brush;
-Wrecks & Relics;
-Warbirds;
-Scramble Intelligence Service;
-Showreports.

Hi Rob,

They normally arrive after quite a while. That's why we included this:

Standard deliveries outside Europe take their time. If you want your copies to arrive soon after publication we advise to chose the 'Priority' option.

in the standard information we send when people outside Europe apply for a subscription. We will however, like we always do, send a replacement copy if it does'nt arrive in the end.

Greetings,
Stefan
