Oriental Air Bridge takes delivery of first ATR42

Japanese carrier Oriental Air Bridge has, on 16 December 2022, taken delivery of its first ATR42-600. The aircraft, JA10RC (1612), is featuring a new livery for the airline and is due to be ferried to Japan in the coming weeks. Initially, the aircraft will be used for crew training and is set to start commercial operations in the second half of 2023.

Oriental Air Bridge, which has its base at Nagasaki, is currently operating two DHC-8-200s. It announced its plan to order two ATR42-600s in December 2021 and firmed their order in July this year. The airline only operates domestic flights.
