Pondok Cabe is the Headquarters of the Polisi Udara corps (KORPOLAIRUD). Helicopters are detached from here to the Polisi Udara directorates (DIT POLAIRUD) of the regional police forces.

We do not know how many of the dozen Mi-2Plusses are still operational.

What we do know, is that the AW169 has entered service to boost the POLAIRUD capacity. Nine were obtained in a deal that also includes two AW189s. Idea is to deploy the AW169 to forward locations adding to and replacing the Mi-2s and NBO105s. Seen here is P-3307 on a pre-delivery test flight in Italy.
