Trojan numero cinq!

On 8 October 2020, we reported on the sale of a quartet of T-28s that has arrived in or is heading for France this year.

But these four will get another companion of the same kind. A remarkable fact in a remarkable year! On 6 November 2020, North American T-28B Trojan N281CM was cancelled from the US register.

N281CM is a former US Navy trainer with BuNo 140035 (construction number 219-34), which has been sold to a new, yet undisclosed, French owner. After withdrawal from US Navy service the T-28B was sold to M. W. Stevenson Ltd, Pasadena (NV) USA.

Stevenson flew the Trojan as N281MS from May 1989 until August 1995. It was then sold to Christopher O. Miller, Carson City (NV) and the registration changed into N281CM. It was flown for a short period by DR Aviation of Helena (MT) before arriving at the current owner until now, the Edwards Group LLc. at Aldie (VA). They have used this Trojan from December 2006.
