Second Irish Air Corps C295MPA

On 23 September 2022, the second C295MPA (construction number 216) for the Aer Chór na hÉireann (IAC, Irish Air Corps) was noted at the Airbus Defence and Space final assembly line at Sevilla-San Pablo (Spain).

Its serial was taped over, but since the first C295 will be allocated serial 284, it stands to reason that number two will be serial 285.

Three days after this, 26 September, the IACs first C295 made its first flight, with registration EC-010. 

On 13 December 2019, the IAC signed a contract with Airbus  Defence and Space for two C295MPA Maritime Patrol Aircraft, as reported earlier by Scramble Magazine.
