Royal Thai Army PC-12

As a nice surprise, aviation photographer Stephan Widmer photographed this Kong Thap Bok Thai (RTA, Royal Thai Army) PC-12/47E (NGX series) with serial 2307 (c/n 2307) fully painted emerging from the factory on 11 August 2023.

It is reported that the Royal Thai Army only ordered one single PC-12 plus three Daher Kodiak 100 aircraft. Next to these, they are in the process of acquiring two Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX.

Scramble Magazine assesses that the PC-12 will possibly be operated by the 21st Aviation Battalion/RTA Wing out of Lop Buri/Sa Pran Nak. This Battalion currently operates the Beech Be200 and some smaller single engine aircraft.
