Last Green Merlin flight
The last flight of ZJ132/Q (a Merlin HC3i of 846NAS Semper Instans, msn 50177/RAF16) will take place tomorrow, 27 July.
The helicopter will then enter Merlin's Life Sustainment Programme for conversion to a Commando Merlin (Mk4), to later re-join CHF (Commando Helicopter Force) for operational flying.
The route and timings of Quebec's last flight as a green Mark 3 are on the graphic below.
There will be no opportunity for anyone to come onto RNAS Yeovilton to film or photograph Quebec, however.
We would like to see and share some of the images that followers of this Facebook page take of the flight. Also, we (Scramble) would love to see pictures of that occasion!
