On 5 June 2022, an al-Quwwat al-Jawwiya al-Malakiya al-Urduniy (RJAF, Royal Jordanian Air Force) Grob G120TP two-seat turboprop primary training aircraft, crashed near the town of Ramtha, Irbid, unfortunately resulting in the death of its two pilots.

The G120TP, with serial 451, was operated by 4 Squadron/King Hussein Air College at Mafraq air base and on a training flight. First reports indicate the crash was due to a technical malfunction.

The RJAF ordered sixteen G120TPs as a replacement for the Slingsby T67M260s. Two aircraft have now been written off.
