A modest event was organized at Jalapa (alternatively spelled
Xalapa), the capital of the Mexican Veracruz state, situated
300kms east of Mexico City. The small regional airport,
located just south of highway 131 to Veracruz, houses mainly
state government agencies, which provided most of the
aircraft for the show. Viewing was best in the morning, as the
public was situated on the north side of the runway; the superb
background could not take away the backlight conditions.
