Re: FA16 being preserved for display at EBBL

Polleke_NL wrote:Visited the maintenance hangar at EBBL today and noticed the FA16, formerly stored at Weelde, being stripped from all it's parts in preparation of being preserved for display. The idea (at this moment) seems to be a location at the mess square, where currently also a preserved F-84F, F-84G and F-104G are located.
FA16 is now parked outside near the shed on the 08 side, visible from outside the field.

The taxiway intersection at the arrival end of rwy05R, i.o.w. the parallel taxiway, is a popular spot. This means it is also the crowdiest of all spots (most cameras per square meter  ). But don't worry, you'll find 'your' best spot; there literally is more than a mile of spots at which you'll be able to take the pictures you want.

Regards and have fun,

[REQ]

I'm updating my spottersfiles and I need my August 2005-edition of Scramble, but I seem to have lost that one... Can anyone help me with serials and units of the participants of the spottersday at Kleine Brogel on July 20th, 2005?

Mail me by private message if you like.

Best regards, and thanks in advance,

Someone already replied and provided me with the info I was looking for, so many thanks!

At 1155lt a USAF C-17 flew overhead Eindhoven inbound rwy23R at Kleine Brogel as 'Rawly 42'. I am nog sure wether it is still there. No info on its serial or its STD.

Fly by was never a (real) option.

They made a fly by in France enroute to Fairford yesterday.

Bye,
