Istres-Le Tubé (LFMI/QIE) - MIL 2010

Yesterday 6x Su-30MKI, 3x Il-78s and 1x Il-76 departed Bareilly for Istres.
Arrival planned this Thursday.
(Flanker serials mentioned: SB-060, SB-301, SB-303, SB-305 +2. No idea if these are correct)

Just got a message from guys at Istres.

Spot 3, 4 and 5 are not reachable because of roadblocks.............. :cry: :cry:

SB058, 060, 303, 304, 305 and 309 have all arrived.

note that roadblocks in the middle of the desert are not that difficult to negotiate, just use another path
have fun!

Most fences are just along the paths, btw

Maybe those fences and roadblocks are just leftovers from the open house at Istres last week

Actual arrival sequence was

RK3451 with SB058, SB303, SB060 landed approx. 10:00L
RK3450 with SB305, SB309, SB304 landed approx. 10:30L
K2879/H landed 12:10L

Other visitors
F-RAJA A340-300 FAF
F-WWMT A400M EADS

All Indians are visible from outside (Chemin des Bellons, spot number 1)

did he told you what kind of other possibilities there are know to take decent landing pictures? Or is there any one with some kind of tips / tricks??

Does anybody know which 3 IL-76/78 are at istres at the moment, wasnt able to read them off because the heat haze was very bad.

And offcourse my very bad binocular :(
