Vierdaagse (Nijmegen region) - 2011

Post by Copter »

Started a topic for Vierdaagse (one of the largest walking events in the world) related aviation movements in the Nijmegen region.

Expected:

CUIJK 21-07-2011
18.00-20.00 uur building of a temporarly army bridge over the river Maas. Will be opened by parachutist (sometimes unplanned water ladings  ). Sometimes followed by a (very) low pass of the Cessna para-airplane (picture: http://www.sgniederrhein.eu/scenearound/phlef.jpg).

CUIJK 22-07-2011
Military helispot at the eastside of the river Maas.

NIJMEGEN (all days)
(military) helicopter activity at "Sportpark Brakkestijn".

Sometimes also some military transport aircraft can be seen at Eindhoven (and Weeze ?).

While i took a shower i heard the sound of a Chinook or Huey

At Heumensoord that evening above Nijmegen:
Cameron Condom 105 PH-GGD
Schroeder fire balloons G36/24 PH-LAV
Schroeder fire balloons G60/24 PH-MSF
+ one red baloon with Virgin on it or something like that

After the finish i recieved my number 7 from my commander.
