Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).
Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.
During our holiday in the Eifel I spend a few hours at Spangdahlem on Tuesday October 20. It was a dull day with a few F-16's in the morning and only 2 A-10's and 3 transporters in the afternoon. A pity because the weather was perfect.
Here are a few pics .
You've made some nice shots. Indeed a shame, Spang didn't fly more...
I had been there in September and the max movements i had were 6 A-10's and no F-16's ....
Spang is sending it's A-10s back to US. The ones you see here unmarked departed few days later back to US. 3 new ones arrived few weeks back and another new one has been seen in US already. So "new" hogs (in the end with SP code) for Spang...
Okay, that's good news then...because if I remember well, 952 in one of the pictures is the commander bird that could be seen at every airshow that had 52nd FW participation. Seems like a good occasion to send some different ones into the european airshow circuit.
