ILA Berlin - 31 may 2008

In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

The whole day there was good flying activity !

This old bird came by a couple of times:

The German armed forces performed a couple of airpower demo's, I do not have many pictures of this because I was also filming :wink:

Sadly the Croatian Wings of Storm PC9's did not perform :( I still do not no why ... But they where at the ILA , still very special !!! You do not see 6 Croation PC9's every day ...

Sadly no Russians this day :evil: Maybe a political problem with Germany?

The NH90 looks very nice, but the Tiger helo was also a good performer!
It can do loops :?

The 4 Druv helicopters of the Sarang Team where not the only Druv's at the ILA, there were also 2 army Druv's (1 performing!) and 1 civil (company helo). Including the spare Sarang Druv I saw 8 Indian Druv helicopters in one day !

Taking decent shots of the staticdisplay was pretty hard. The airdisplay made all up for that, because a lot of the staticdisplay could be photographed in the airdisplay. I liked the ILA very much, nice visitors en pretty good weather. Here are some of my results. Hope you like them.

Nice photo of the 2 B-1's Mike. Unfortunately I didn't have the mm's to do the same. How much mm's or what lens did you use for that one?

@Marien, I used a simple 18-55 Canon lens. I took this picture by placing the camera on the ground, slightly pointing it up.
