Hi...
In my "analog days" I used Canon bodies: Ftb, AE-1 and A-1.
I switched to Nikon F100 in the late '90's.
I switched to digital in 2002 with a (occoasion) Nikon D1. My next body was a (occasion) Nikon D2H and after that I used a (new) Nikon D200 with battery grip.
The D1 and D2H are now in my camera collection, the D200 was sold to a friend of mine.
At the moment I use the following (first hand) bodies:
Nikon D300 with battery grip.
Nikon D700 with battery grip.
Nikon D3.
On these bodies I use the following lenses:
Nikkor AF-S 24-70ED 2.8 (Nano coating) on the D700.
Nikkor AF-S 70-200ED 2.8 VRII (Nano coating) on the D3.
Nikkor AF-S 300ED 4.0 on the D300, also in combination with the TC-17E II.
Nikkor TC-17E II.
Nikkor AF-S 105ED 2.8 VR Micro (Nano coating) on all bodies, but rarely for aviation.
When I go "plane-hunting" I take all three camera's with me, for military aircraft I use all three but at EHAM I mostly use the D3 with the 70-200.
Grtz.
