HV A320neo 640Transavia France receives first A320neo

Not only Transavia Airlines received a first neo-Airbus (A321neo PH-YHZ), also Transavia France received its first neo but this time an A320neo, the shorter version. The registration is F-GNEO (11918) and was delivered on 10 January 2024, flying from Toulouse-Blagnac to its home base of Paris-Orly, as flight TO320

We already reported last year that they would receive it, making it the first A320neo for the Air France-KLM Group.

The aircraft’s first commercial flight is scheduled on 15 January, flying to Porto Airport (Portugal), Transavia France’s inaugural destination when the airline began operations in 2007. Going forward, the A320neo will serve the airline’s entire network, covering over 200 routes to 120 destinations.

This delivery follows the evolutionary order placed by Air France-KLM in 2021 for 100 Airbus A320neo family aircraft – with purchase rights for an additional sixty aircraft – to renew the fleets of KLM and Transavia Netherlands, and to renew and expand the fleet of Transavia France.

By the end of 2024, Transavia France expects to operate thirteen Airbus A320neos, alongside its fleet of close to seventy Boeing 737-800s.
