STARLUX orders freighters and more A330neos

On 21 February 2024, on the second day of the Singapore Air Show, Airbus and STARLUX signed an agreement for additional Airbuses. The airline has ordered three more A330-900s but also five A350Fs, its first dedicated freighters. It also has taken options on five more A350Fs.

STARLUX was established in 2018 and launched operations in January 2020. It currently operates a fleet of thirteen A321neos, four A330-900s, and four A350-900s. The airline calls Taipei-Taoyuan International Airport as its home. It flies from there to destinations in Guam, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, United States and Vietnam.
