Qatar Airways takes delivery of 1st B737MAX

On 13 April 2023, Qatar Airways took delivery of its first B737MAX. The aircraft, B737-8 A7-BSC (43329), left Everett-Paine Field (WA) on this day for Reykjavik and continued its journey to Doha a day later.

In total, and slightly different than we reported in February 2023, Qatar Airways is leasing nine B737-8s. All these MAXs were previously intended to go to S7 Airlines in Russia and leased from Air Lease Corporation.
