NetJets orders four more Global 8000

Bombardier has announced NetJets has ordered four more Global 8000 aircraft, bringing the total to 24 aircraft on order.
The 24 aircraft will consist of this new order, old orders and conversions of aircraft already in service.

The Global 8000 was originally announced as a shorter version of the Global 7500, then still called the Global 7000. It was to have a 600 nautical mile wider range than the Global 7500, but with less seating.

Whereas the Global 7500 is officially designated the BD-700-2A12, the Global 8000 was to be the BD-700-2A13.

At the EBACE 2022, Bombardier announced a redesign of the Global 8000. It is now simply a Global 7500 with more range. Existing Global 7500s can be converted to Global 8000 standard.
