Nauru Airlines takes delivery of 1st passenger B737-800

On 19 January 2024, Nauru Airlines took delivery of its first passenger Boeing B737-800. The aircraft, VH-AN2 (30660), left Vilnius this day and arrived at Brisbane on 23 January 2024 after stops at Sharm el-Sheikh, Colombo, and Darwin.

The addition to the fleet is part of the airline's fleet renewal plans which were announced in January 2021. The new Boeing is set to replace one of Nauru Airlines two ageing B737-300s. Later, it plans to add another newer B737 to replace the final one.

This B737-800 is not the only -800 in the fleet as Nauru Airlines took delivery of a B737-800SF in August 2023.

Next to the earlier mentioned B737-300s, -800, and -800SF, the fleet further consists of two B737-300SFs, and a single B737-700.
