Lynx Air welcomes 1st aircraft

Canadian start-up Lynx Air has taken delivery of its first aircraft on 14 February. The aircraft, B737-8 C-GJSL (44312) arrived at Calgary at this date. Two more B737-8s will follow in the coming weeks and the airline aims to launch operations in April, planning to serve Calgary, Kelowna, Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria and Winnipeg.

Lynx Air is the new name for Enerjet, which operated three B737-700s. Next to its first three B737-8s, the airline also has options to lease up to 43 additional B737-8s in the coming years.
