Lessor Abelo orders ATR72s

During the Dubai Air Show 2023, ATR Aircraft announced it has sold ten ATR72-600s to Irish lessor Abelo. Next to the firm order, the lessor also secured options on another ten aircraft.

Abelo last year also ordered ten ATR72-600s and ten ATR42-600s, which means the leasing company now has 30 new ATRs on firm order.

Delivery of the newly ordered ATR72s will take place between 2026 and 2028.
