Kuwait Airways takes delivery of first 2 A330-800s

On 29 October, Kuwait Airways took delivery of their first two A330-800s. The occasion also marks Airbus' first delivery of an A330-800. The aircraft, 9K-APF (1964) and 9K-APG (1969) left Toulouse around 11:15 for Kuwait.

The airline has a total of eight A330-800s on order. In total their fleet now consists of 27 aircraft; seven A320s, three A320neos, five A330-200s, two A330-800s and ten B777-300ERs.

Kuwait Airways’ A330neo will comfortably accommodate 235 passengers, featuring 32 fully-flat beds in Business Class and 203 spacious seats in Economy Class while offering a large cargo hold capable of accommodating generous passenger baggage allowances.
