Honda launches HondaJet Echelon

Back in 2021 at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), Honda Aircraft announced that it had launched a concept for a new version of the HondaJet, called the HondaJet 2600. At this year's NBAA, Honda announced the aircraft will now be called the HondaJet Echelon. In June of this year, Honda green-lighted the HondaJet 2600 for production.

Honda Aircraft is investing $55 million in the development and manufacturing of the aircraft at its plant in Greensboro (North Carolina). First flight of the HondaJet Echelon is expected in 2026, with type certification in 2028.
