flybe ceases all operations

The relaunch of flybe has ended in a failure as the airline announced on 28 January 2023 that it has ceased all trading. According to the statement "all flights have been cancelled and will not be rescheduled". The UK High Court has appointed two administrators to wind down the company. Various media are reporting that chances for a potential restart are slim to none.

flybe 2.0 has been operating for under a year, relaunching flights on 13 April 2022. It had its main base at Birmingham and in the end operated a fleet of nine DHC-8-400s. The original flybe went bankrupt in March 2020.
