CDB announces lease-agreement with Turkish Airlines Group

On 24 April 2024, lessor CDB Aviation announced it has signed a lease-agreement with the Turkish Airlines Group for a total of seven aircraft. The deal is comprised of one Airbus A330-300 for Turkish Airlines which will be delivered in May 2024, and six B737-8s for AJet which are slated for delivery in 2025 and 2026.

The Airbus A330-300 joins a fleet of 58 A330s already in service with Turkish Airlines and will help the airline to support short term growth. The B737-8s will join a fleet of ten B737-8s, of which three are wet-leased from SmartLynx Malta.

In total, the fleet of Turkish Airlines is currently made-up of 349 aircaft, while the total fleet of AJet (formerly known as AnadoluJet) tallies 87 aircraft.
