Breaking: Canadair CL-415 crash

Canadair CL-415 I-DPCN (c/n 2070) fire fighting plane crashed today, 27 October 2022. The Vigili del Fuoco owned plane impacted the side of a mountain near Linguaglossa, Sicily (Italy).

The aircraft that had taken off from Lamezia-Terme-S Eufemia Airport was fighting a forest fire and had just released its load of water when it contacted the downslope of a mountain and broke up. Both pilots died in the accident.
