Bonza welcomes first aircraft

On 1 August 2022, Australian low-cost start-up Bonza welcomed its first aircraft. Boeing B737-8 VH-UJT (62533) arrived safely from Seattle (WA) at the airline's base at Sunshine Coast.

Bonza, which is backed by investment firm 777 Partners, is planning to launch operations in September of this year and will soon announce its first routes. It is currently unknown how many aircraft the airline will receive.

In total, 777 Partners has open orders for 53 more MAXs, which will be shared between Bonza and the investment firm's other airline, Flair Airlines from Canada.
