Aura Aero plans 19-seat regional aircraft

French manufacturer of light electric aircraft Aura Aero has unveiled plans for a 19-seat electric engined regional aircraft. The company announced the news during the opening ceremony of its new production facility at Toulouse-Francazal Airport.

The, for now unnamed, regional aircraft will be offered in both passenger- and cargo-versions and will feature six electric engines. Aura Aero hopes to have the prototype in the air in 2024, with deliveries to customers starting two years later.
