ASKY to become MAX-operator

ASKY Airlines from Togo has signed a lease-agreement with AerCap to add two B737-8s to its fleet. The new Boeings are planned to be delivered in June and August 2023 and come from AerCap's existing portfolio of B737MAXs.

The airline, which was founded in 2008, is currently flying to 26 destinations out of Lomé. It's owned for 40% by Ethiopian Airlines, which also currently provides a large part of ASKY's fleet. Today, the airline is operating four B737-700s, and seven B737-800s.
