AnadoluJet rebrands into AJet

During a special ceremony in Istanbul, Turkish Airlines unveiled the new identity and strategy of its subsidiary AnadoluJet. The low-cost carrier is now named AJet, featuring a new livery. The first aircraft in the new livery is Airbus A321-271NX TC-LUC (10275). Also part of the new strategy is that AJet will be obtaining its own Air Operator's Certificate (AOC), making it a true stand-alone airline in the Turkish Airlines Group.

Over the last year, the fleet has already seen quite an increase and now totals 88 aircraft, four A320s, nine A320neos, seven A321s, fourteen A321neos, 45 Boeing B737-800s, and nine B737-8s. The plan is to further grow the fleet in the coming years to 200 aircraft.
