1st A220 for Air France painted

The first of 60 A220-300s for Air France has been painted at the Airbus-plant at Mirabel. The latest addition to the airline's fleet is due to be delivered in September and will be registered F-HZUA (55134).

During the first month, Air France will use its new A220 for crew training before being deployed on commercial services. The airline is planning to use the A220s to replace its current fleet of eighteen A318s and 30 A319s as well as some of its oldest A320s. Air France will configure the A220 to carry up to 148 passengers.
