Taipei and Manila airports (Civil and Military)

Post by Hans.Jacobs »

hi,

Made a trip to the Airplane Museum at Taipei. They also have a nice observation tower where you can see both parallel runways. Have inserted some photos so you can get an impression. They're not 100pct sharp as the glass was not too clean and tinted at some places. But anyway, here we go:

Here are also a few shots from Manila Airport. Was good to see an operational F-27 too! Again, these pics are taken through aircraft windows or terminal windows, so they're not all too sharp. Anyway, just wanted to give you an impression of what's around, hope you like them :D

Nice shots! They should fix that F5 though, it looks pretty bad.

they were actually just about to give the F-5 and F-104 a new layer of paint. The S-2 just had one, looks really nice. The museum inside is quite extensive, but very little aircraft. Mostly miniatures. Nonetheless it's worth a visit...
