So only the "regulars" will use the parallel runway and the specials the main.

Until now hardly any a/c used the parallel runway. The Turkish F-16s flew an approach to the parallel runway on Monday morning though.

I guess frank kramer's reply to a similar question says it all for now;

@Thijs: AFAIK, Spotting Group Volkel is currently trying to work out final details with the RNLAF for operations on the spotters days that may well differ from operations on "normal" days and would enhance possibilities for us; all depends on co-operation of ATC and finding procedures that are both safe and simple; the obvious answer: let's keep our fingers crossed... less than 24 hours to go!

The check-in for the spotterday is based on year of birth. Tomorrow the following ranges will be used:

1935 – 1953
1954 – 1961
1962 – 1965
1966 – 1969
1970 – 1974
1975 – 2000

When you arrive, find out which row is for your year of birth!
