14.02.2010 Cameroon Air Force (???) Bell 412 @ Luxembourg

Post by JetStar2 »

two Bell 412s were noted this afternoon at the cargo-ramp at Luxembourg Airport. I was unable to get any closer so the shots are taken through double fences and in heavy snowfall!

Does anyone has more info on these two choppers? TJXEM is clearly readable, the other I wrote down as TJXSA but very hard to read. What does "B.I.R." stand for?

on the boxes with the rest of the helos (tailbooms, rotors, etc) I saw written numbers that COULD be the c/ns: 36522 and 36524, they look like Bell 412 c/ns.

The photos: http://www.scramble.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=60455" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

any help on this issue is very welcome!

Pretty smart answer Hans. :evil:
But it doesn`t need to be that logical.
They also could have came from Cameroon and on there way to one of the many Bell factories over the world.
In this case I was hoping they would end up at Bell helicopters here in Calgary.

But that would not be logical.

Hey Wim,
Have you been able to find out which constuctionnumber belongs to which airframe.
I see 36522 and 36524 reported, but not sure what belongs to what.
